Slack integration

Give your agents Slack access, not your Slack keys.

Most integrations hand an AI agent a token and hope it behaves. AgentValet sits in front of Slack instead: the agent asks, the broker checks what it is allowed to do, holds the risky calls for your approval, and writes down every one. The token never leaves the vault.

How to install

  1. Sign in to AgentValet

    Open app.agentvalet.ai and sign in to your workspace. If you do not have one yet, you can create a free account from the same page.

  2. Open Platforms and choose Slack

    Go to Platforms in the sidebar, find Slack, and select Connect. This starts the Slack authorization flow.

  3. Authorize the workspace

    Slack asks you to pick the workspace and approve the permissions AgentValet requests. Review them, then allow. You are sent straight back to the dashboard when it completes.

  4. Grant the connection to an agent

    Open the agent you want to give Slack access to and grant the Slack scopes it needs. Deny-by-default means an agent gets nothing until you say so, one scope at a time.

What the broker does

AgentValet does

  • Hold the Slack token in an encrypted vault, decrypted only at call time
  • Check every request against the scopes you granted the agent
  • Pause destructive or sensitive calls for human approval
  • Record each call, who made it, and what came back

AgentValet never does

  • Hand the raw Slack token to the agent
  • Log message contents or credentials in the audit trail
  • Let an agent use a scope you did not grant it
  • Keep access after you revoke the connection
